Download the PHANTOM crypto wallet for free from the Android or Apple app store. Do not download it from any other source.
Download the COINBASE app from the Android or Apple app store.
If it's your first time using Coinbase, they have to by law, store a copy of your I.D., so they will ask for that. You just have to use their scanner to scan it real quick. Next you have to connect a checking account or a debit card. Then you are done. It just takes a few minutes.
Once you do those things, it's easy to use Coinbase.
Do not keep large amounts of money on Coinbase. Their executives have been known to steal, especially if you do not do two-factor authorization.
However, you must read the book I mention in the book section, so that you understand crypto.
Buy the ARCULUS cold storage wallet, which is where you need to store your crypto to protect it from hacking bots. Buy it from the official website only. It costs $99 and will arrive at your door in two days.
Buy at least 1000 dollars' worth of XRP and store it on your Arculus card wallet. It will go up when Bitcoin fails and the dollar fails.
Why do you need the Phantom wallet if you have an Arculus wallet? Because Phantom is where you can keep some Solana tokens, which you need for doing meme coin trading. If you don't do meme coin trading, then you don't need a Phantom wallet. You can just transfer your crypto tokens straight from Coinbase to your Arculus card.
Phantom and Metamask are exposed to the internet and are free. Arculus is off-line and is $99. At minimum you need to have an Arculus cold storage wallet, and should learn how to use it. Familiarize yourself with it by playing around with a small amount of tokens.
There are lots of other ways of doing crypto, but those are the only ones you should be involved in because those are the best and easiest. Don't get caught up in a bunch of stuff you don't need to know.
